National Public Health Week recognizes the importance of public health. This year’s theme, “Protecting, Connecting, and Thriving: We Are All Public Health,” reminds us that we are all responsible for improving public health in our communities.
There are many aspects of creating and maintaining public health. Protecting our environment and making sure our food and water are safe to consume are important factors for public health. This week we recognize steps we can take to improve the health of individuals, families, and communities.
