State Rep. Mike Coffey Kicks Off ‘Back- to-School Supply Drive’

Springfield, IL…With students preparing to head back to school, State Representative Mike Coffey (R-Springfield) is collecting school supplies to donate to students and families throughout the 95th District. As the cost of living continues to rise in Illinois, many families are finding it more difficult than ever to afford the supplies students need to start the school year. Rep. Coffey is inviting the community to help ensure every child has the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.

“The best part about my back-to-school supply drive is knowing we’re helping students get the supplies they need to be successful,” Coffey said. “The cost of school supplies adds up quickly, and I know many families are feeling that burden. By working together as a community, we can help students start the school year prepared and ready to learn.”

Rep. Mike Coffey’s office is collecting school supplies through Friday, August 7. Community members can drop off new school supplies at his District office located at 401 S. Spring Street in Springfield.
