Coffey Recognizes Rheed Kiel and His Daughter in The House Chamber

Rheed Kiel is from Chatham, Illinois and joined me at the Capitol today as my Page. Rheed is wrapping up his senior year in Western Illinois University, majoring in law enforcement, where he has learned to properly and effectively handle difficult situations. He is currently putting his studies into action as an intern for the Illinois State Police.

Rheed’s ultimate career goal is to protect and serve our state by officially joining the Illinois State Police and specializing with the Statewide terrorism and intelligence center, as he has always had a passion for protecting and serving his community. I want to congratulate Rheed on his hard work at Western Illinois University and wishing him the best of luck and all his pursuits with law enforcement. Thanks for visiting your Capitol today, Rheed.

My second page for the day was my daughter, Chloe. She is going to be a senior at the University of Mississippi. She’s majoring in business and Hospitality management. For some reason, she thinks she wants to take over the family business, so we’ll see. It is great to have Chloe here. She’s a very special girl and I’m very proud to have her as my daughter.
