Today, House Republicans joined outside the Capitol to honor the lives of fallen firefighters during the Illinois Fallen Firefighter Memorial and Medal of Honor Ceremony.
We honored the brave men and women who lost their lives in the line of duty. Our first responders are the backbone to community safety and today we remember the fallen firefighters who served with courage, pride, and honor.
They are the first ones there when we need them most, working under extreme conditions to save lives, restore order, and provide immediate care.
It’s important to notice the sacrifices they make to ensure public safety is a priority for our nation.
