Coffey Honors Local Family with House Resolution for William D. “Bill” Marass

I was honored to present House Resolution 0676 to the wonderful family of William D. “Bill” Marass during the Rochester Village Board Meeting this week.

Bill was a great man who proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He also earned his bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement and dedicated his career to public service, serving as a police officer for the Village of Rochester from October 15, 1981 through October 31, 2016- serving as Police Chief from 1997 until his retirement.
