Rep. Mike Coffey Responds to Illinois’ State Budget Signed into Law
Springfield, IL…After the largest-in-history $55.9 Billion FY 27 State Budget was signed into law by Governor Pritzker on June 16, State Representative Mike Coffey (R-Springfield) issued the following statement:
“Each year we see the state increase spending, yet families and businesses continue to struggle to make ends meet,” Coffey said. “There must be accountability from our government and that begins with stepping away from the failed public policies are driving costs up in our state. Illinois families deserve tax relief, and I will continue advocating for policies that drive economic growth and lower taxes for the people of Illinois.”
