I want to thank the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff Paula Crouch for joining me in safeguarding our community by collecting used and expired prescription drugs from households in Springfield! I was overwhelmed by how many people attended our event. This event really makes a difference by keeping these drugs away from children and the DEA does a great job with the collection process.
