Rep. Coffey Honored to Join the New 104th General Assembly
Springfield, IL…State Representative Mike Coffey (R-Springfield) is honored to be sworn into the new 104th General Assembly and continue his work to create a brighter future for Illinois families. Today, Rep. Coffey took the oath of office and was sworn into the 104th General Assembly as State Representative for the 95th District. Rep. Coffey says he’s ready to continue working to move Illinois on a path forward that will improve the quality of life for Illinois citizens.
“It is an honor and privilege to represent the 95th District and I look forward to working with my colleagues in the 104th General Assembly to make Illinois a better place to work and call home,” said Rep. Coffey. “My legislative plan will promote growth for businesses, lower the tax burden that is crushing Illinois families, and enhancing public safety throughout our communities.”
Rep. Coffey has been a strong advocate for lowering taxes, creating economic growth, supporting veterans, and helping senior citizens. In his first term, Coffey rolled out “Mike on Main Street,” an initiative that led him to meet with business owners and tour local businesses to hear directly from them and their concerns with state government. Coffey’s business experience and record of service to the community represents a unique perspective in Springfield. He is committed to working on behalf of the people he represents and will work across the aisle to get the job done.
Coffey continued, “I want to pledge to my constituents in the 95th District that I will always be your voice at the Capitol and stand for what is right. Although we have an uphill battle, I’m committed to working on legislation that is in the best interest of the people of Illinois. I look forward to working in the new 104th General Assembly and bring sound solutions to state issues and advocate for fiscal responsibility.”

Representative Mike Coffey serves the constituents of Illinois’ 95th House District that includes parts of Sangamon County, including portions of the City of Springfield and Villages of Chatham and Rochester as well as parts of Macon and Christian Counties.
