Illinois residents will see new laws go into effect on January 1st, 2025. Several bills passed through the Illinois statehouse during Spring session and signed into law by Governor Pritzker. A few of the new laws include minimum wage increase, digital driver’s licenses, and replacing the term ‘offender’ with ‘justice impacted individuals’—more details about the new laws.
Republicans continue to advocate and fight for more meaningful laws that would lower property taxes, improve public safety, and grow our economy. We must work together to move Illinois in the right direction so families and businesses can thrive.
