Session Deadline & Republicans Still Wait To See Budget

*SESSION UPDATE*

We’ve made it to end of session deadline and have yet to see the multi-billion dollar state budget. This week has been very busy in the House with debates and committees going late into the evening. Now, we are expecting a full weekend of work ahead to get the budget passed.

It’s unfortunate Republicans continue to be cut out of budget negotiations. It’s very likely we will not see the budget until a couple of hours before it’s voted on for passage. We will see how session works out this weekend and I will be sure to provide more information as I receive it.
