Free access to Chicago area museums

Rep. Coffey wants to help families in the 95th District take advantage of the world-class museums and educational institutions in the Chicagoland area. He is offering the opportunity for constituents in the 95th District to borrow a special “Museum Card” that provides free general admission for up to four people to any of the following institutions:

  • Adler Planetarium
  • The Art Institute of Chicago
  • Brookfield Zoo/CZS
  • Chicago Academy of Sciences / Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum
  • Chicago Botanic Garden
  • Chicago Children’s Museum
  • Chicago History Museum
  • DuSable Museum of African American History
  • The Field Museum
  • Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center
  • John G. Shedd Aquarium
  • Lincoln Park Zoo
  • Museum of Contemporary Art
  • Museum of Mexican Art
  • Museum of Science and Industry
  • National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture

Those interested in borrowing the Museum Card must be a resident of the 95th District and reserve the card in advance. The card can only be borrowed for a total of three days at one time.
